YoTaggs A Social Networking Revolution.

YoTaggs is a social network that matches indie artist with unknown designers.  The network itself is user driven. Who drives the network? The fans. The indie artist. The unknown designer. How?

By submitting their projects for review by the network. Any member of the YoTaggs network can submit a project for review. Musicians, graphic designers, writers, illustrators, photographers, screen writers, filmmakers etc…..

Members receive reward points for referrals and participating in contest. All members can vote for or against a submission. When you cast a vote you receive reward points for participating. Everyone can receive reward points for voting. Just submit your vote.

Only those members registered as unsigned talent in whatever industry can submit projects for review. Fans don’t submit projects for review. Fans vote. Illustrators submit projects for review. Writers submit projects for review. Fans get free music and other promotional items. Members can use their reward points to purchase items on the YoTaggs network. I think you get the picture.

For example, a musician submits a work request for album cover art and posters to the network. Once the work request is submitted. Members with the necessary skills can look at the request and start designing the pieces. Once they’ve completed the project the graphic artist, illustrator or whatever submits their finished job to the network for review. The members then vote for the one they like best.

Once the votes are counted a winner is announced on the network. The musician then contacts the winner and arranges payment for the designs. If they like them. Let’s say they like the design and decide to use them. They contact the designer and arrange payment details. The unknown designer gets money for their work and a design for their portfolio. The musician gets quality work at a reasonable price. A price a indie artist can afford. Not the usual high prices demanded by the pros.

Both benefit from the marketing and promotion of the music and the art. YoTaggs promotes both.

Oh I almost forgot. The musician took advantage of the network and released twenty songs on the network for review. Their completed album is only going to include ten songs from the twenty submitted. YoTaggs members voted on the tracks and chose ten of the twenty. The musician accepted the results of the contest and used the ten songs picked by the members of YoTaggs.  Now the album is done. At least the tracks are ready. But what about the covert art, flyer’s, press releases etc…….

The musician has already submitted a work request for a YoTaggs listening party and ten tracks were chosen. Now he or she submits a work request or requests for whatever else they need done. Then the process starts all over again. The artist submits his or her completed project for review by the network.

A winner is announced. The musician pays the artist, writer etc…. for the designs. The artist gets money for their work and a piece to add to their portfolio. The musician gets quality work at a very affordable price.

Remember these are unknown designers and indie artist trying to make a name for themselves. So prices will be reasonable.

This is just one of the many hook ups possible using YoTaggs. YoTaggs matches up starving artist that can benefit from working together. YoTaggs invites anyone who can contribute to this network to please join and offer your talent.  Whatever it is.

YoTaggs will be distributing a promotional compilation album periodically. The music, designs, press kit, website etc….. will be done by YoTaggs members. Every step of the project will be reviewed and voted on by the members. The promotional Cds will be sent to the movers and shakers in the music and film industry. The members of YoTaggs will get a copy of the compilation Cd which will be made available for download on the YoTaggs network.
